Our culture is rooted in kindness, honesty, humility, and gratitude. While faith guides our work, we welcome all who share our values of compassion and service-minded excellence.

✓ JOB DESCRIPTION ✓

This position is for team members who provide professional cleaning and/or organizing services for residential and commercial clients. Team members represent Busy Bees Flawless Clean & Organizing LLC with integrity, professionalism, and care.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide professional cleaning and/or organizing services according to company standards

  • Follow detailed checklists and procedures for each type of job

  • Maintain a positive, respectful attitude in clients' homes and workplaces

  • Communicate promptly and professionally with team leaders and management

  • Uphold the company's values of integrity, compassion, and excellence in every task

Work Areas

Team members may be assigned to jobs throughout San Diego County and, at times, in Riverside County (Temecula/Murrieta) or Orange County. Assignments are based on location, availability, and company needs.

Compensation & Training

All compensation is per job, not hourly—meaning you're paid for the work completed, not the time spent. The "$18 per hour" listed in this job description is simply a minimum average comparison to help you understand potential earnings—but you're always paid per job, not by the hour.

Example: A job may pay $75 or $125 depending on size and scope. Team members who complete these jobs efficiently while maintaining quality standards maximize their hourly earnings.

Paid Shadow Training Period (30-90 Days)

New team members will begin with a Paid Shadow Training Period lasting 30-90 days, depending on individual work performance and skill development.

During Shadow Training Period (30-90 days):

  • Work under close supervision alongside experienced team members (no solo jobs)

  • Per-job pay structure with minimum average earnings of $18 per hour

  • As your skills and efficiency improve, so does your effective hourly rate

  • Team members who master Busy Bees standards and work efficiently can earn well above the minimum average

  • Payments are processed weekly for completed jobs

  • Earn pay increases as you progress and demonstrate skill development

  • Learn company procedures, safety practices, and service standards

  • Sign a Waiver and Team Agreement before beginning paid training

  • Be evaluated for readiness to advance to independent work assignments

After Your First Shadow Training Session:

You'll receive access to our "TEAM Docs & Resources" Google Drive folder containing all company policies, procedures, and important information. You'll be required to review these documents and complete a knowledge quiz (approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour) before your next shadow training day. All policies and procedures are stored in Google Drive so you can easily access and reference them anytime without needing to locate your team agreement.

The length of the shadow training period is determined by each team member's progress, reliability, and mastery of company standards. This approach ensures consistency, client satisfaction, and quality service while allowing both the team member and Busy Bees to confirm mutual fit.

After Successfully Completing Shadow Training:

  • Eligible for higher pay and independent job assignments

  • Issued an official company shirt

  • Depending on final classification and role assignments, team members may be required to supply and maintain their own tools and products

After Shadow Training Period:

  • Per-job compensation continues based on job scope and requirements

  • Efficient, high-quality work means higher earnings per hour worked

  • Solo assignments typically pay more than team assignments

  • Payments are processed weekly for completed and approved jobs

Work Availability and Income

Busy Bees does not guarantee a specific number of hours, jobs, or income per week. Work availability may vary based on client demand, scheduling needs, and performance, especially during the first 90 days. While every effort will be made to provide consistent opportunities and maintain a full schedule, assignments are not guaranteed.

Referral Bonus Program: Team members are encouraged to help grow our client base. A $50 referral bonus will be paid for each new client successfully referred who completes a paid service with Busy Bees.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods

  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as needed

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds safely

  • Comfortable working in various home and business environments

  • Team members must respond to messages within 12 hours

Reporting Time Off and Availability

Team members are not required to request approval for time off. However, accurate scheduling depends on proactive communication of availability. When unavailable, team members must send a calendar invite to the designated email address with specific formatting (details provided during onboarding). A tutorial video will be provided to demonstrate this process.

Arrival Instructions for Shadow Training

When you arrive at a job location for shadow training, please do not knock on the door or ring the doorbell until you're with the Busy Bees representative. Look for the designated company vehicle to confirm arrival. If you're not sure whether the representative has arrived, use the provided contact method for confirmation before approaching the home.

  • Consistent reliability and communication are essential for continued team membership

Client Relations & Conduct

Team members agree not to contact clients directly for scheduling, rescheduling, or payment matters unless explicitly authorized by Busy Bees Flawless Clean & Organizing LLC.

All client communication must be coordinated through Busy Bees management to maintain professionalism and consistency.

Team members are expected to maintain professional boundaries with all clients at all times. While friendly and respectful communication is encouraged, over-familiarity, personal discussions, or behavior that could be perceived as unprofessional or overly personal is not permitted. Team members must represent the Busy Bees brand with integrity, professionalism, and respect in every client interaction.

Team members are strictly prohibited from soliciting, contacting, or accepting direct work from any Busy Bees client outside of assignments arranged through Busy Bees. This includes any attempt to divert, "poach," or otherwise establish an independent working relationship with a Busy Bees client during or after team membership.

Violation of this policy will result in immediate termination and may lead to further legal action.

Substitutes and Replacements

Team members may not send substitutes or replacements to perform assigned work without prior written approval from Busy Bees Flawless Clean & Organizing LLC.

All approved substitutes must meet company standards and complete onboarding requirements before performing any services.

Unauthorized substitution or delegation of work will result in immediate termination and may lead to further legal action.

No Unauthorized Persons or Pets on Job Sites

  • Only approved Busy Bees team members are permitted on job sites.

  • Team members may not bring friends, family members, children, or any unauthorized individuals to client properties.

  • Personal pets are not permitted on job sites under any circumstances.

  • Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination.

Three-Strikes Quality Policy

At Busy Bees, we expect every team member to bring prior cleaning experience and a strong commitment to excellence. We understand it takes time to adjust to our exceptionally high standards, so we provide hands-on training and clear feedback. However, maintaining our "flawless" reputation is essential.

How it works:

  • First Strike: If a client reports missed areas or quality issues, you'll receive direct feedback and coaching to correct the issue

  • Second Strike: A second quality issue results in a formal warning and improvement plan

  • Third Strike: A third documented quality issue will result in termination of team membership

This policy applies from day one of training through the entire duration of team membership.

Client Complaint Follow-Up:

  • During the 30-90 day training period: If you need to return to correct an issue, you will be paid for that time as part of your learning process. However, the quality issue will still count as a strike.

  • After the training period: If a return visit is required due to a quality issue, you will return on your own time, unpaid, to correct the issue. This will also count as a strike.

Missed Areas and Client Reports

In the event that a client reports an area as missed, the following procedures will apply:

  • The client will be given the option to have the team member return to address the missed area or to receive a monetary discount on their next cleaning service.

  • If the team member is required to return, this time shall be considered unpaid (after the training period), as the oversight is deemed the team member's responsibility.

  • If the client elects to receive a discount instead, the equivalent amount will be deducted from the team member's pay for that job.

Professional Standards & Dress Code

  • Maintain a clean, modest, and professional appearance

  • Company shirt required after the Shadow Training Period

  • Closed-toe shoes are mandatory for safety

  • Modest shorts allowed in warm weather

  • Avoid strong fragrances or scented products, as many clients are sensitive

  • Hair should be secured and jewelry kept minimal for safety

  • Any color shirt is fine during training; preferably plain with no graphics. If your shirt has graphics, avoid profanity or other company logos.

Music and Audio

Listening to music or audio is permitted through headphones or earphones only, as long as it doesn't interfere with communication or work quality. Keep volume low and avoid singing or taking phone calls during work hours.

Food and Breaks

Bring water, snacks, and meals as needed. Always clean up after yourself and maintain a tidy, professional appearance.

Conduct and Values

  • Treat clients, teammates, and management with respect and professionalism

  • Follow all safety and product-handling guidelines

  • Refrain from harassment, gossip, or unprofessional behavior

  • No drugs, alcohol, or impairing substances while on duty

  • After the shadow training period: depending on final classification and role assignments, team members may be required to supply and maintain their own tools and products

  • Only approved, non-toxic products that meet company standards may be used — a list will be provided

Transportation

  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Must carry active vehicle insurance

  • After the Shadow Training Period, a vehicle capable of carrying cleaning equipment is required

  • Vehicles must be kept clean and professional in appearance

Insurance Requirements

Depending on final classification and role assignments, team members may be required to carry liability insurance. Details regarding insurance requirements will be provided during onboarding and may vary based on individual circumstances and business needs.

Company Policies

Team members agree to review all Busy Bees Flawless Clean & Organizing LLC policies as outlined at BusyBeesFlawlessClean.com/policies.

Before beginning the Shadow Training Period, team members will sign a Team Agreement confirming that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with the policies listed on the website, as well as any future updates published by Busy Bees.

  • Respect client property and privacy at all times

  • Report any incidents, damages, or safety concerns immediately

  • Lock doors and secure property before leaving each job site

This includes refraining from posting negative or misleading comments or reviews on social media, online platforms, or review sites.
